Beer hair

I'm alive. In case you thought otherwise ;)

Haven't worn anything picture worthy and have no money to buy new things at the moment.

I have however been working on this conditioning of the hair thing.

The first night I used the olive oil masque I saw immediate results. But every other time I've had less than fantastic. Tonight I thought I'd give flat beer a try. I don't know what order you're supposed to do it in. Beer, shampoo, condition? Shampoo, beer, condition? Shampoo, condition, beer??

I did beer first. If it doesn't work, I have plenty of flat beer lying around (I don't pick up my room nearly as often as I should) so I can try it again tomorrow night. I'm also wondering how flat is too flat? I'm not beer expert when it comes to drinking it nor pouring it on my head! Tonight I poured nearly an entire 16oz of Steel Reserve. I also have budweiser and miller high life to try. I wonder if a certain brand adds more conditioning shine than another?

I've got the olive conditioner crap on right now. Is it so much to ask? I just want GOOD HEALTHY non dry hair. That's all. I blame the media..those stupid hair commercials. Is that sleek long hair even attainable!

edit:

Okay, so the beer WORKED! I think. Maybe it was a combination of the conditioning masque and beer but my hair is shiny and soft (er). So I'm going to keep doing it! And I got compliments at work. So..give the ol' flat beer a try!

Hair again, gone tomorrow

I straightened my hair today to give you some idea as to if I can do a cutesy bob-like Katie Holmes in the entry below.

I went to the Regis Salon in the mall to get some good conditioner and left with some olive oil masque thing. 30 minutes twice a week. I really hope it helps my dried out mane!

And what I wore to work..nothing special.

hair

This is the hair style I've been thinking about. I'm fairly certain my hair can't do this though. I don't have fine hair. It's on the coarser side. And it's really dry from dying it so many times. UGH!

I want longer hair but I'm sick of my current blah style. And I'm due for a trim anyway.

Hate Mischa, but I stumbled upon this pic. I like the dress. And the wedges. I'm so ready for fall!!! The saturated colors, tights, prints, scarvs and coats. mmm

Asos

My dress from Asos came in today! I had a feeling it'd be waiting for me.
I'm not sure about it though. I like it but then..well, here take a look:

It fits great in the waist/hips (if not even a big snug!) but ...the arms. I'm hoping this is just part of the design. I don't know anything about UK sizing. My other french connection dress is a 0. But this is a 6. It's definitely not an American 6 because that would swallow me whole.

I just threw this belt on to see if would make a difference. Hmm.

And they threw in a free tote! Weeeeeeeeeeeeee

I don't know who Russell is. Should I?

Oh! And tell me what you think of the website I just finished (I started at 10:30 and it's 2:30 now) for my mom. She wants to breed pups and sell them. CLICK CLICK! I haven't made a full-fledged website since..gosh, I was maybe a freshie in college. Like 4 years ago!

50th post!

I know my shoes and dress didn't exactly mesh today but whatever, I just went for it! My new shoes and swim suit bottoms came in yesterday. I've searched Target, Old Navy and Wal-Mart for a swim top and have had negative zero luck. I hate having a chest! I think I'm having a love affair with stripes. Hopefully by being small, my stripes don't hold true the the horizontals make you look fat!

Anywho, go janes and an $8 Target dress!

Receiving via post

Oh, sorry for the confusion! I do work at Banana Republic but not often. I recently took a full time job at a bra boutique, The Fitting Touch. I still work at BR on the weekends--so I can keep the discount!

And excitingly enough, today I found out I got a small raise! More spending money! YAY!!

Last night I was feeling a little down and bought myself a dress from Asos and heels from Go Jane. The dress is French Connection. I really like their stuff. I'm just hoping a UK 6 translates into a US 0/XS.

Does anyone call mail the post anymore? Well, I'm excited to have these things coming! Still waiting on the swimsuit bottoms.

I'm glad the boots are liked. I'm wondering if I should try to ebay them? 5.5 isn't really my size. It's a tight squeeze.
